Hi, Dan, I wish all plumbers were as efficient and thorough as you, we've just moved into a new build, and the guy came to sort out 4 "snags", needless to say, he failed to fix 3 of them, and successfully "fixed" the pop up kitchen sink plug, but badly scratched the lovely new plug in the process,, 😫😱,, So I've just spent a happy half hour trying to polish the plug with a pan scrubber and some barkeepers friend,, Can't wait till he comes back to sort out the unfinished stuff,, 😂😂

For the price, these are good.

Thanks for this super helpful video Dan - it saved my day. I'd just finished a chemical clean of my F&E central heating system and after refilling the system and bleeding the radiators, turned the boiler back on. There was clearly some air affecting the boiler operation as it tried to come on, fired for a bit then cycled off. Going through your re-commission process and running the system at max for around 20 seconds did the trick.

Help! My taps are cemented in place to the sink 😢 I removed everything and it's literally moving the sink when I pull it. From the underside I can see a yellowed substance in the area where the tap fits through the sink. What kind of pervert does this? I. Worried about breaking the sink. Can I just bash the tap with a rubber mallet?

Mate im getting hot water even when the hot water is off is it a possibility this valve needs replacing. Also if i have the hot water on its scaulding hot even tho ive turned the water down to minimum on the copper tank. Now i dont even have the hot water on and i have hot water but obviously its still being heated for some reason which id like sorted. Thanks.

I have a problem with this saw. The sole is quite flexible and it is hard to align the blade to 90 degrees adjusting the little screw that regulates the initial offset. Also, the sole is not flat.

You don't have to take it out like that. The top half of the flush can be detached while it's still fitted in the cistern and pulled straight out. New flush just clicks back on

Hello! Can anyone help me with my issue? Namely, from some reason, heating is not working, and I tried to check the pump, by unscrewing the cap as in this video (to try to start it manually), but when I removed the cap on the pump, water started to come out in the stream. I closed it quickly, as pressure started to go down. Is it normal thing? Do I need to ignore the water stream and to try quickly to unscrew the screw inside the pump to check if it is jammed?

Is it the guard don’t move up easily that you use your finger to move it?
